Our Story:

Rampart Roofing is a local family owned and run company. Matt, a Colorado native has been roofing here in the Springs since 1996 and opened Rampart Roofing in 2009. Since then, his wife Melissa joined as co-owner and their team has installed over 2,300 roofs in the Pikes Peak region.

Our Mission:

To serve each client well, so they will have peace of mind, knowing their roof will be weather tight for many years to come. We do this by rigorously adhering to professional industry standards, and by building an organization of people inspired to be their very best.

Our Approach:

At Rampart Roofing, we use a unique process to teach our customers what to look for in a roofing company as well as what the best procedures and products are for their specific projects. Our detailed estimates tell exactly what will be installed in a repair or re-roof project and we explain why each product is important to the lifetime and weather-resistance of a roof. We want our customers to know exactly what they’re getting, and that’s one of the biggest things that makes us different from any other roofing contractors in the area.

Meet Our Founders:

Matt Munro

President & Founder

Matt Munro, a Colorado native and the president and founder of Rampart Roofing, Inc., has been roofing since 1996. He established his family-owned and operated company in 2009. “When I started Rampart Roofing, Inc., I had no idea what a positive impact it would have in the lives of our employees, clients, and community.” With his wife, Melissa joining as co-owner, their team has successfully installed over 2,300 roofs in the Pikes Peak region, a testament to Matt’s dedication to his work and the community he serves.

Melissa Munro

Executive Vice President

Melissa Munro is the Executive Vice President and co-owner of Rampart Roofing, Inc., where she currently oversees both the administrative and marketing divisions. Alongside her husband Matt, she has played a big part in the company's growth and success. Outside of her work at Rampart Roofing, Inc., Melissa enjoys being active, especially when it involves hiking and traveling with Matt.

Our Customer Relationship Team

Alaney

Customer Relations & Sales Support

Alaney wears many hats at Rampart Roofing, Inc. Though her official title is customer relations and sales support representative, she helps us stay organized with her general administrative support. She has a background in roofing and construction, and she enjoys helping customers. “I like being able to help homeowners throughout the roofing process with honesty and integrity.” When she is not working, Alaney likes to work on her ranch and spend time with all her farm animals.

William

Business Development Representative

As Rampart Roofing, Inc.’s Business Development Representative, William Rich focuses on networking and building relationships within the commercial roofing sector. He brings diverse industry experience, including roof maintenance and project management across projects ranging from single-family homes to large HOA complexes and commercial properties. When asked what drives him, William says, “I enjoy building and maintaining relationships within the roofing industry in an effort to help give back and better the Colorado Springs community.” Outside of work, William enjoys woodworking, building, and golfing with family and friends.

Kris

Director of Project Management/Sales Lead

Kris Rupple loves Colorado for its trails and hail. “I started out with a degree in construction safety and ended up helping people deal with hail damage. I know how to help a customer through all of this and get them the best roof system for their house that’s been safely and solidly installed.” Kris moved to Colorado six years ago because it gives him opportunities to do what enjoys most—helping customers through the insurance process and playing in the big outdoor Colorado playground.

Derek

Project Manager

Derek is an experienced builder and entrepreneur. He began working in construction at the age of 15 and has been taking on residential construction projects like roof and gutter installations, building decks, and various interior remodeling projects ever since. With any type of project, Derek strives to provide his clients with the best experience possible. “One of my favorite things about my job is meeting with clients every day and helping them to get the best solution for their roof.” When he is not busy, Derek likes skydiving, mountain biking, camping, and snowboarding in the mountains.

Ken

Project Manager

Ken is an experienced project manager with an extensive background in roof repairs, replacements, and the oversight of large projects. He grew up in the roofing industry and works hard to help his customers find the best solutions for their roofing needs. One of his favorite parts of the job is meeting new clients. “I enjoy serving others in their time of need and talking to new people every day.” When he’s not roofing, he likes skateboarding, snowboarding, and making music.

Chris

Project Manager

Our commitment to giving back to our community is one of our core values at Rampart Roofing, Inc. That’s what makes Project Manager, Chris, the perfect fit for our team. “One of my favorite things about my job is helping the community.” With experience in management and inter-business sales, Chris has a strong work ethic and adaptability. When he’s not leading projects, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the outdoors with his black lab, watching sports, and being active.

Justin

Roof Specialist

As a Roof Specialist, Justin provides comprehensive roofing solutions and installation oversight. With several years of experience as a project consultant in the roofing, siding, and window industries, Justin approaches his work with a strong commitment to professionalism, transparency, integrity, and efficiency. He is driven to help others and provide long-term solutions. Outside of work, Justin enjoys being outdoors, whether he's golfing, snowboarding, hiking, or fly fishing.

Ashley

Production Coordinator

Ashley is the Production Coordinator at Rampart Roofing, Inc. She upholds our commitment to providing high quality roofing solutions by supporting our team. With a background in fast-paced, high-volume environments, and experience in construction labor, Ashley brings a unique perspective to her role. “I enjoy providing support to all of my team members to ensure we can live up to our company tenets of quality and integrity.” Ashley likes to travel, and she enjoys outdoor adventures, including snowboarding, hiking, and fishing, as well as cultivating her love for crystals and plants.

Quest

Commercial Superintendent

"It takes a special kind of person to truly enjoy roofing. I like to say that roofing chose me, rather than me choosing roofing. Today, I still love it just as much as I did when I first started." Quest is Rampart Roofing’s Commercial Superintendent. He has been in the roofing industry since 2015. Quest's extensive experience allows him to oversee roofing installations to ensure the highest quality work from start to finish. A Colorado native, Quest has a deep connection to his home state. Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing in the stunning rivers and high alpine lakes Colorado has to offer.

David

Commercial Superintendent

Rampart Roofing, Inc.’s Commercial Superintendent, David, brings over 22 years of dedicated experience in the commercial roofing industry. His career in roofing began in 2002 when he started as an apprentice, and advanced through the ranks to become a commercial superintendent. David oversees all essential day-to-day operations, including scheduling, quality control, and roof inspections. Outside of work, David stays active by running nonprofit softball and baseball leagues.

Travis

Quality Control/Repair Technician

Travis is a Quality Control Technician here at Rampart Roofing, Inc.. With over six years of experience in the roofing industry, he excels at supporting our project managers and ensuring high standards. Travis is passionate about making a difference in our community through hard and honest work. "I like working in the roofing industry because it allows me to make a difference in someone's life, no matter how big or small that might be." Outside of work, he enjoys music festivals, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his dog.

Tony

Commercial Roofing Estimator

Tony is our commercial roofing estimator. He has over a decade of experience in the roofing industry, and he is passionate about helping others. “I am driven by ensuring the highest quality and best price to protect my clients, their families, and their possessions.” When Tony is not working, he can be found hiking or paddleboarding with his dog, hitting the gym, playing basketball, or snowboarding.

Lauren

Supplement Manager

Before joining the Rampart Roofing team, Lauren gained experience working in a multitude of industries from roofing to teaching elementary school. She likes to build connections and learn new skills. “I like being a part of a small team and connecting with people. I adapt well to the constant movement and changing needs.” When she is not at the office, she is spending time with her family, coaching, attending soccer games, building, repurposing old items, studying, watching movies and enjoys visiting the mountains.

Skylar

Bookeeper

Skylar Munro manages the company’s finances with a passion for numbers and organization. “I have a lifelong love of numbers and organization. Keeping everything running smoothly so our roofing team can do what they do best is very gratifying.” Skylar grew up around roofing and is excited to join the company. Outside of work, they enjoy crocheting, walking, and reading as many books as they can.

Amanda

Marketing Coordinator

Amanda brings a diverse background in team support, and office administration. She is passionate about supporting the Rampart Roofing team. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and exploring the many hiking trails Colorado has to offer. Amanda is an exceptional photographer whose skills are reflected in the pages of our website and all of our social media posts. She's won "roof of the week" from Boral multiple times through her photography skills. She is Google Ads and Google Analytics certified.
